Dec. 4–Lebanon-based and Eugene-owned Bilyeu-Miller Insurance, Oregon’s largest nonstandard auto insurance agency, has neither a Bilyeu nor a Miller in its ownership for the first time since it was founded in 1942.
The six-office agency was sold this week to the Brooke Corp. of Overland Park, Kan., for an undisclosed price.
“It’s a relief,” says Dean Bilyeu of Eugene. “There have been ups and downs over the years. Right now, it’s up there at a pretty good high.”
